Will Be Back in 2009

I have done so bad at keeping this blog going. I guess I will not have a year of pictures. But I will keep it going with the pictures I do take in the new year. So, I will be back starting January 1st, 2009 and hope to have all of 365 pictures by year end.

Here is mine photo. This is what I use to make our Cuban espresso. I purchase it at the Cuban market. We make espresso a lot in here, especially when we have get together.

ScrapFreak Photo Challenge-Inspiring Patterns

Our photo challenge this week is to take a really close look at your clothing and even the other fabrics in your home. Find something that really jumps out at you... then take a photo of the item... a close photo... where the entire frame is filled with color, texture and/or pattern. Show ONLY the frame-filled photo... and tell us what you have photographed.... or not.


This is the pattern, I found in my closet. I really thought I did not have that much clothing with patterns, as I am no one to really like patterns on, I am more of a solid color kind of person....I know boring.




This is the blouse, where the pattern came from. It is a silk halter top that George bought for me, cause he like it.

Our Weekend-Photos

It was a beautiful 80 degree weather on Sunday, so we took Briana to the park and she played and chased the geese's and ducks til she was all tuckered out.

Photo #24-Cousins

My cousin came over from Nevada and stayed with us for a few days. I took some pictures of her and her baby girl on Sunday afternoon. I think this one is one of my favorites. It was a fun week-end!

Photo # 23-Skate

A couple of days ago Briana has been asking for skates . She pretends she is skating, she pretend falls, she pretends to be hurt in the house. Its funny! Anyway, George and I thought, they don't makes skates for 2 year olds, Right? Wrong they do!

Well, I purchased them as a bribe, reward for her. She did good with them, until her father was taking her to the sidewalk, through our steep drive way and fell. She was done, she got scared. LOL!! We will give it a try another day.
